Drop Kerb

Drop kerbs and driveway access across Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Humberston, New Waltham, Holton le Clay, Caistor, Lincolnshire and the East Riding.

A drop kerb lets you drive onto your property without bumping over a raised kerb. We fit drop kerbs and new kerbs at entrances, often as part of a new driveway. Because the work is on the public footpath, it needs council permission first, and we'll check what your council needs.

Drop kerb and new kerbs at entrances

A drop kerb makes getting on and off your drive easier, and it is kinder to your tyres and suspension than mounting a raised kerb. We fit drop kerbs for driveway access and new kerbs at entrances, either alongside a new drive or on their own.

The old kerbs are taken out, the ground is prepared, and the new lowered kerbs are bedded in and set to line so the footpath stays safe for people walking past. The area is left clean and tidy once the work is done.

Work that needs council permission

A drop kerb sits on the public footpath, so it needs permission from your local council first. Some councils have their own rules about who can carry out the kerb work, so we'll check what applies to your address before anything is booked in.

We work across Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Humberston, New Waltham, Holton le Clay, Caistor, Louth, Market Rasen, Binbrook, Barton upon Humber, Scunthorpe, Grainthorpe, Marshchapel, Mablethorpe and the wider Lincolnshire and East Riding area.
